[Goyang Ilbo] Seems Bionics (CEO Yim Shin-gyo), an exporter of $10 million who manufactures HOCl generators and water-related products, donated ‘Hypochlorous acid water generator (Vi-trap)" for the prevention of COVID-19 to the Fun Independence Living Center (Welfare Facilities for the Disabled, Center Director Kim Jin-hoe) on March 3, 2020.

The center plans to provide the donated Vi-trap-produced disinfectant to families with disabilities who may have financial difficulties in purchasing masks and hand sanitizers due to social disadvantages within their communities. This new donation was created to help prevent any new COVID-19 infections within the region.

The ‘Hypochlorous acid water generator (Vi-trap)’ donated by Seems Bionics has been verified with a product approval for 8 species other than Legionella in a test conducted by the FDA, which is recognized globally by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Center head Kim Jin-hoe expressed his gratitude, “I am very grateful to receive a precious donation in a situation where socially disadvantaged people have financial difficulties in purchasing disinfectant.”

"I hope this donation will help prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the community," said Yim Shin-gyo, CEO of Seems Bionics.

Meanwhile, Fun Independence Living Center is an organization that carries out projects aimed to help improve awareness of the disabled, protect their basic human rights of the disabled, create new jobs, and help achieve a better future for the disabled through a world where the disabled and non-disabled can live cohesively together.
